Using data from the Stanford Securities Litigation Analytics (SSLA) database, we take a closer look at the risk facing biopharma firms with market capitalization under $1 billion, and we find that the prospects these firms face with respect to securities class actions is only slightly worse than that faced by firms of comparable size in other sectors.
